Genoa Fighting Fund

93 people were brutally attacked and arrested in their sleep after the demonstrations against the G8. They were held for four days in appalling conditions and then released without charge and a ruling that their arrests were illegal. They were then deported from Italy.
These are their expenses:
· Air fare home £230 each
· Phone bills of people helping them while in prison
· Retrieving luggage
· Money stolen by the police
· Fighting fund to bring the police and whoever authorised their actions to justice
