Welsh Green Gathering cancelled

They are apparently concerned about the site becoming contaminated with diesel, excreta and drugs.
Apparently they are implacably opposed to any "alternative" events taking place in their area. Last year they caused the cancellation of the Llandeilo Festival at an advanced stage. The organisers of the event would like people to continue to apply as the decision will be appealed and
simultaneously an alternative site in a different police area is being sought.
It is suggested that people may like to email or write to the Chief Constable, Mr. Terrence Grange and Richard Thomas, Clerk to Llanelli Council to protest about this decision
