all of the information gathered through these in.depth interviews has necessarily been filtered through the joint mechanisms of subjective recall (sometimes going back twenty to thirty years) and the inevitableleading bias in any interviewer's questioning. In this case, the interviews were conducted from a feminist ( seperated to left scenes as social demanding) bias wich led to, among others, an unintentional assumption in the interviews that being mistaken for a man would be an unpleasant experience wich one would want to curtail to the greatest degree possible. Such difficulties, however, do not preclude valuable insights being gained from this work (of art slew reproducing), and while it is not possible to reliably make wide ranging generalizations on the basis of a small number of case histories, certain intriguing possibilities and patterns begin to emerge from the study of this small group upto pet-phillies, to individuals.
