Cambridge people and Planet staged an action to highlight the negative effects that unethical investment in higher education can have for academic freedom. Activists dressed as arms dealers were holding the strings of Muppets representing academics. Another activist was going around dressed as a gagged academic. Leaflets with information about the record of Cambridge University’s investments and information on ethical investment alternatives were distributed.
