You've probably seen one of these disgusting fear mongering billboards - they're all over Nottingham at the moment, encouraging us to be suspicious of our neighbours. Someone obviously couldn't put up with the bullshit any longer.

An article appeared on the national Indymedia site calling on us to storm the banks. While I understand the feelings from which it comes I don't think that will achieve very much.

Today the convergence centre and Ramparts have been raided ( http://london.indymedia.org.uk/articles/1002) by riot cops and there are reports of further arrests. When we attack capital the defenders of capital will hit back, viciously.

A recent report on protests against the BNP in Sutton mentioned some rather strange quotes from a prospective MEP. Lewis Allsebrook, who is currently a local councillor for the BNP in Heanor West, is 4th on their East Midlands list of candidates for the European elections and would "revel at causing some havoc" if he were to get to Brussels. He also thinks the Church of England's teachings of the Bible are "normally twisted and evil" and that there is a "ring of darkness around Nottingham" that Labour would call "Diversity"."

Technological gremlins and exhaustion have been banished and more easily printable versions of the maps of the Square Mile and the ExCeL Centre have now been sorted. A3 is the best size for the Square Mile map, so for those without A3 printers, there are two A4 versions you can print out and stick together with old-fashioned sticky tape. The map is downloadable as a JPEG or PDF in A4, A3 and split A3 versions, in black and white or colour.
