A Public Meeting entitled: "Hands off Gaza! End the War on Terror!", organised by the Nottingham Stop the War Coalition was held at Bobbers Mill Community Centre, Berridge Road West (Hyson Green) Nottingham at 7pm on Thursday 26 March.

Last night about 50 people from East Midlands Unite Against Fascism, Mansfield and Nottingham Trades Council, Stop the BNP, UNISON, GMB, Unite and others protested in Sutton in Ashfield.

The British national party held a gathering, believed to be a fund raising event, at a pub in Sutton In Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.

They want to raise money for their European Election campaign this year by having an evening of speeches fron BNP Furher Nick Girffin and “light and sound effects plus cinema-graphics”. Who writes this stuff?!

On March 28th, English Nationalist have called a "National Demo" in Leicester. They hope to use the opportunity express their concerns about the city becoming "the first to have a minority of Indigenous English in the near future." This, they claim "is non other than ethnic clearing." Which is presumably similar to ethnic cleansing.

While the organisers are insistent that the "demo is not connected to any political party," it is prominently promoted on the websites of both the England First Party, a BNP-splinter group, and the openly-fascist National Front. Something which you might hope the organisers would be concerned about.

In May 2008 Hicham Yezza, an IT technician at the University of Nottingham, was arrested, together with student Rizwaan Sabir, in a well-publicised anti-terrorist swoop. They had downloaded al-Qaida material from the US Department of Defense website as part of Sabir's academic work on terrorism.
