London fashion week: Racial diversity event

Images from the two-day 'Fashion diversity' event.
This event aims to promote emerging designers and models from ethnically diverse backgrounds, in what many see as an industry dominated by 'skinny white people' in the UK.
This event took place on Friday 19th + Saturday 20th September, and was held at the Museum of London.

Man who died in immigration raid named

Frank Odame 36-year-old from Ghana died following raid by police and immigration. Mr. Odame was found with head injuries below a block of flats. A post mortem has been held and the cause of death was given as head and chest injuries. Walthamstow Coroners' Court opens an inquest. Read more >>

Cops overreact to black kids playing in Hyde Park

Line of police 400 metres long with dogs and vans cleared 200 black teens, a few with water pistols, from hyde park at 6:30. At one point a cop used a taser on one of the teens. Several others were manhandled andthere seemedeto be over 10 arrests. Read more >>
