Witness Venezuela’s Elections This December-6, 2015
This December, witness one of the most important elections in the history of Venezuela, and of the hemisphere. On December 6, the people of Venezuela will exercise their right to vote in elections for deputies to the country’s National Assembly. Voters will decide whether to carry forward the Bolivarian Revolution by retaining a Chavista majority in the National Assembly or return the political intitative to the traditional elites represented by most of the Democratic Unity Roundtable (MUD).[Full Story ]

(Sat 28 September) – Peace Strike will today dismantle its emergency 24hr ongoing ‘Peace Picket’ for Syria, outside the US Embassy in London.
Following the passing of a resolution last night by the United Nations Security Council, the immediate threat of Western military strikes on Syria appears to have passed. We shall nevertheless remain vigilant and be following events closely, responding with further action as required.

Bristol is being dragged into a bogus Mayor election that is attemting to pass over sixty percent of the electoral power over to one individual which in the modern world is considered either ludicrous or a regime and in historic terms, it was known as feudal. The article is written by Dave Dobbs who is running for Bristol Mayor who is running as a protest to the stupidity and to highlight why the Government wants Bristol under corporate lockdown seeming as it is one of the major locations that drones are now manufactured in the UK. And the prospect of war that now looms.

Particularly annoyed by the Daily Mail's mean-spirited and skewed reporting of the criminalisation of squatters. That is fine and dandy Mr Rothermere when you are a £750m tac exile and have lots of places to live yourself. Having said all that your rag the Daily Mail has been the only UK media to report the mysterious death of Dr Richard Holmes so yes, free speech does mean the right for you to print what so many profoundly disagree with. The trouble is Paul Dacre cynically prints libelous stories about penniless young squatters when Associated Newspapers' lawyers know that they cannot afford to take you to court.

Nuclear energy company seeks high court injunction against protestors

Nuclear energy company EDF today served papers on activists occupying a farm on the proposed site for nuclear new build at Hinkley Point in Somerset. The papers, served by Squire Sanders of London, are applying for possession of the premises and, in an unprecedented move, an injunction against all future protests at this site: this includes any protests by other local residents, such as campaign group Stop Hinkley.

St Pauls used to be ACTUAL stock exchange...
Whilst reading a book on the english civil war recently, I found an interesting piece that explained the the st pauls cathedral was actually used as the stock exchange in the years immediately prior to the english civil war breaking out. the practice of using the cathedral for this capitalistic venture was eventually stopped by some body or other (cant recall his name) and then the war broke out. with the current protest happening outside st pauls, i believe this information to be very relevant today, especially as the bods that control st pauls now are trying to persist in stating that there actions against the camp are not politically motivated. also, below, is a quote about st pauls taken from wikipedia:[Full Story ]
