Oppose Visit of south Korean puppet navy to the UK !

ASSPUK, JISGE and UK Korean Friendship Association | 05.11.2015 08:03 | Anti-militarism | Terror War | London | World

2 warships of the south Korean puppet navy have docked in the Portsmouth , the home of the British navy and have been welcomed by the navy top brass and local bigwigs . This is part of a wider effort by the UK authorities
to boost "defence co operation" with the south Korean puppets and enourage them in aggressive exercises against the northern Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea.
Indymedia readers should be aware that south Korea is a fascist puppet regime , that is a regime that regularly jails progressives and trade unionists as well as pro reunification patriots and communists. The UK governement should be be supporting this hated dictatorship !

London 4h of November Juche 104(2015)
The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement denouncing the visit of the south Korean puppet navy to the UK :

Our organisations were shocked and appalled to learn that yesterday that two warships from the south Korean puppet navy docked in Portsmouth City , the home of the British navy . These means that the British government is joining hands with the south Korean puppets hellbent on repeating the shameful history of Britain during the Korean War.The participation of Britain in the Korean War was totally reactionary and unjust . An act of participating a war waged by a big power against a small country. It is not something that should be honoured or celebrated but a shameful episode which saw British young men reduced to mercenaries and cannon fodder for US imperialism.
Just in the past when Britain supported sent troops to support Syngham Rhee, the puppet and oppressor of the Korean people the British government is repeating this shameful history by welcoming the south Korean puppet navy to the UK . The UK must end its support for Park Geun Hye the latest incarnation of successive puppet fascist regimes. It is the south Korean puppet regime that represses workers and trade unionists , often jailing progressives and pro-reunification patriots

The visit of the south Korean puppet warships to the UK comes at a time when the south Korean puppet navy is carrying out war exercises against the DPRK with the US . By allowing the visit of the south Korean
puppet navy to Portsmouth , the British government is colluding with these anti DPRK moves.

Instead of sticking to past pro US , reactionary and imperialistic policies Britain can change its policies and pursue an independent policy of friendship with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea !. The British govenment must end its two-faced policy and seek genuine friendship based on mutual respect.

The south Korean puppet navy is not welcome in the UK and should not be allowed to dock at British ports.
We denounce this act of encouraging the south Korean puppets in their anti-DPRK moves !
