Stalin was a hero, a man of the people, a defender of the workers and a very hansome man to boot.

the bourgeoisie, feudalist reactionaries and imperialists need to be repressed, otherwise they will repress you. imagine a revolution anywhere, egypt say. is it possible without smashing the army, and jailing the generals, the leaders of the regime etc, disbanding reactionary groups. if you don;t then they will turn on you. this is the reality stalin had to deal with. they were mistakes, but also many victories.
also, many of the things attributed to stalin, ie famine, are not his personal fault, and we never hear condemnation of Churchill for the Bengal famine in India.
Stalin did not kill anyone, and regarding the condemnation of Trotsky, the fact is that Trotsky had ali counter revolutionary line and from the behaviour of Trotskyist groups, we know that they are not serious about revolution, and in the name of attacking 'stalinism', in fact attack all genuine attempts at socialism all over the world. all the UK trot groups have honest cadre, but their leadership has led to nothing apart from supporting the labour party.
