http://www.ism-london.org) of the International Solidarity Movement (
http://palsolidarity.org) held one of our monthly training weekends - for volunteers who are going to Palestine to provide active practical solidarity within the Palestinian communities - in a social centre on Stoke Newington Church Street. When we broke for lunch, the scintillating sounds of samba drifted down the road to greet us. On further investigation, who should be generating such uplifting beats but the Rhythms of Resistance! (
http://http://www.rhythmsofresistance.co.uk) They were supporting a street stall by the new Hackney Palestine Solidarity Campaign (
http://www.palestinecampaign.org), who were getting a great response from local people for their anti-Apartheid Wall message. So I whipped out my trusty Xda II and snapped these pix - share and enjoy. Peace & Love, David Jones
