Gaza Bombing Demo 16th November 2012
Stalingrad O'Neill | 17.11.2012 20:14 | Palestine | Repression | Terror War | Birmingham
I noticed one of the city's 'new' liaison officers, bore a remarkable similarity to an officer who had 'kidnapped' a protester at the Hippodrome Batshiva Dance Demo two nights ago
(15th Nov)
As the demo dispersed, it was pointed out to me, that there were rather a large number of police vehicles discreetly parked along the Queensway tunnel, that runs under the Bullring
Speakers included MP for Northfield, Richard Burden, Kamel Hawwash and Shamam Murad.

Batsheva Protest arrest Photos

The cop is the one on the right in the final three Bashsheva photos with a moustache
It prompted the Chronicle to publish this downright lie
http://www.thejc.com/news/uk-news/90765/batsheva-protester-arrested-over-anti-jewish-slur
I have spoke to a number of witnesses who refute this story, those who waited at police station till the protester was released and others who were told at the scene by police that the protester was not arrested but removed to stop a situation from escalating???

What exactly is the point of posting these images here if you don't allow them to be used for the good of the cause?
If you want payment from commercial use then you should say so.
You are preventing these images from reaching their full potential. You are harming the cause of the people that are in these images.

Given that they reporter took these pictures, in his own time, using his own equipment that he has paid for; he has the right to choose what he does with his own work. If he doesn't want other people profiting from his work or using it in any way, thats his affair.

How exactly is he 'harming the cause of the people that are in these images'?
You are trying to harm his reporting career

2) Only constables and sergeants display collar (shoulder) numbers. For instance, you can tell the woman is a sergeant and the tall guy is a constable from their numbers.
3) Why don't you make a complaint instead of getting other people to do your dirty work?

Do you normally pop into your neigbours house 'n borrow something without telling them? Anyone is free to email me a request you know!
Copyright here offers some protection against the images being exploited by political groups, who's politics you would oppose (least I'd hope)!
Theres nothing else to say

Errr... They form part of a news article that people will look at! (duh)
>If you want payment from commercial use then you should say so.
Err, No. If you want to pay to use them for commercial use, then you should contact him and discuss it. He does not have to state what you say he does. He can state what he wants - it is his article, not yours. Write your own article if you want.
> You are preventing these images from reaching their full potential. You are harming the cause of the people that are in these images.
They are his images. Not yours. They are not in the public domain. Don't like it? Tough!
I'd love to see some evidence supporting that statement about 'harming the cause'. Oh yes - I'd really like to see some facts backing that little gem up. I suspect it is utter reactionary Horsecrap
