There seems to have been some recent confusion about the new Open Place social centre we have established in London as a result of a couple of typos and some attempts at disinformation from somebody calling them-self "Peckham squatter"

Email correction - the previous email published was  theopenplace@riseup.org that was a mistake - sorry. It should be  theopenplace@gmail.com and we got our postcode wrong. Apologies for that, the person who wrote the post is not from London.

Our phone number 07763 832987 is correct but is only on in the evenings when we are open however you can leave a message on the voicemail during the day and we will get back to you.

The Open Place is in the former Brixton Heights building with access via a staircase at the back, please follow the signs to "The Open Place"

Indymedia mods don't like other Social Centres that are in competition to those run by their friends, no chance of this post remaining on the newswire.

In fact the article was auto-hidden as a regex filter has been set. The article thus never appeared on the site at all. It remains the case that this 'radical social centre' has no other web presence than the hidden posts on Indymedia UK, and as in other posts making false claims about centres or events, comments appeared after the post was already hidden.

Furthermore, despite the claim that:
