There is some sort of weird schizophrenic, war going on between a couple of nutters at the moment who are both using the name 'not eyed jaguar'. It's attracted a few other loonies and trolls as well so could both of these posts and all the comments be hidden.

there's no point signing your name with (the real one) at the end, as a fake one can do just the same.

Indymedia either needs to allow people to log in, or else make it so people can cryptographically sign their posts using something like PGP. At the moment this isn't possible because the content is mangled slightly before publishing (to add links etc.)

What about having contributors double post a text file along with their comment so they can be posted together. Like if you posted your comment here, and that comment was on a secure server as a text file so it could be linked too confirming it as posted by the real person.

Or user accounts for those who don't need to be anonymous.

I have just been reading this, the posts it references and all I can say is, what the hell is going on ? My brother emailed me with the tagline "indy finally implodes under the weight of nutters ?"

I was going to say I can't imagine who these people are but my brother thinks every post and all the comments are from one person which seems mad and bad.

There are of course individuals and organisations that seek to hide the truth of what is happening in Libya, Zimbabwe and the greater political cover-up regarding Gadaffi's faked murder.

I am confident that the truth will out because in time and with effort the truth always does. In the same way that the USA tried to make the world believe that they had killed Bin Laden the French and British tried to make us believe Gadaffi was dead.

Both killings are quite obviously untrue and part of the broader geopolitical attempt by the UK and France to win control of its own oil fields outside of US control.
