New School Curriculum is 'Anthropometry' (eugenics) now active in schools.

Caz | 29.05.2011 12:38 | Education | Globalisation | Terror War | World

The 'Opening Minds' school curriculum is eugenics, (anthropometry) devised by the Royal Society of the Arts, and now in schools in the UK, and elsewhere.

Here is the eugenics school curriculum:

Opening Minds, Year 7 Science, instructions to teachers. Note the section about measuring babies' heads, its been done before, and is described as 'Anthropometry', from the 1921 eugenics conference.

From the following document, page 9: 'Measure the head size (chin to top of head) and the body size (height) of up to ten children or adults'

Children now wearing arm-bands

29.05.2011 17:00

Not only are children being taught how to measure humans (anthropometry) they are also encouraged to wear arm bands:

 http://www.eastgrinsteadcommunity.co.uk/project-safety-arm-bands.html

It is not clear what children to be so afraid of.

From the Telegraph article with respect to the Evelyn Grace Academy in Brixton:

 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education/8497435/Inner-city-academy-thats-a-blueprint-for-the-future.html
'Everyone has a reading book on the table. No one moves towards the pasta and meatballs until a teacher gives the signal, and even then there's an atmosphere of quiet restraint. 'If we didn't have the strict rules we have, I dread what it would be like here,' Xanthe Greenwood, 13, says.'

I am not sure what these children think they are capable of.

Anthropometry is Not eugenics

29.05.2011 18:46

Anthropometry is the measurement of the physical dimensions of the human body and and its parts (arm length, head size, girth etc etc). Information about the size, and range if sizes, of people is essential to ensuring that things fit people, whether this is a seat, door, ambulance trolley, wheelchair, train toilet, emergency exit ............ Anthropometric measurements need to be continuously updated as people change size over generations.

As such, anthropometric measurements could be be used by eugenicists to measure the physical size of people if they were proposing a breeding programme to select for size. But, to claim that schools are promoting eugenics because they are teaching anthropometry is like saying they are promoting weapons manufacture because they are teaching CAD!

Given the importance of making sure things are designed to take account of individual differences, which is what anthropomtery enables us to do, we should be pleased that it is being taught at schools.

I suggest people also read the Schilling's letters with regards to Ark Academies:

I take it then that someone at the RSA (Royal Society for the Arts) has made a unilateral decision about the careers of these 11 year old children.

From: Not Francis Galton:

I am not sure then why these children are taught how to measure babies, when they cannot predict what they will be like as adults. Unless it is intended that those in the year 7 Opening Minds Science curriculum (compulsory in schools where this is offered) are going to have a career in designing equipment for babies.

With respect to the West London Free School steering committee, Cosmo Lush (who is on this committee) sister, Louisiana Lush with Francis Galton (yes, Francis Galton):

Each of the four NGOs described above owes an historical debt to the Galton Institute. The Eugenics Society was instrumental, largely through the determination of Dr C P Blacker and of Vera Houghton, in establishing the IPPF which in its early years was housed within the offices of the Society. The National Birth Control Association, which in 1939 became the Family Planning Association, was supported by annual grants from the Eugenics Society and given low cost accommodation in the Society’s Eccleston Square premises. Marie Stopes International acknowledges its historical continuity with the clinic founded by one of our most illustrious Fellows and, following her death, operated as a legal subsidiary by our Society. International Family Health was founded by two long serving members of the Institute’s Council.

We now have eugenicists crawling ALL OVER our children.
