21 Jan 2010. Stop the War Coalition called for a demonstration for Tony Blair's appearance at the Chilcot Inquiry. A small gathering met outside the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster.

Stop the War Coalition announced a protest saying that Blair went to war despite knowing that lawyers thought the war was not legal. BBC reports that Blair turned up two hours early allowing him to avoid protestors. The official time for the start of the proceedings was supposed to be 9.30am so despite the efforts of protestors to turn up at 8.00am, most of them missed Blair's entrance. Having said that the reports showed a small number of protestors early enough to catch him (so congratulations to them for being so early). I was not there myself at the start but BBC reports about a dozen protestors at that time.

It was a cold day for standing still outside the conference centre, but many people had been determined to stay - some having travelled from as far away as Bradford.

Here are some photos I took during the day while I was there.

Why he free?

22.01.2011 19:03

Why is Tony Blair still free to attend these pro-Americana meetings?

Why haven't the STWC or SW yet had him arrested and imprisoned?

They collect enough money on the streets don't they!

They've been demanding he is a war criminal for years! How come they haven't yet put the public money up to bring him before a court for prosecution.

Are we to expect that Tony Blair is the first war criminal with an appaling record of awful human rights abuses to walk scot free away from his crimes...and doesn't that suggest that violent terrorism is perfectly acceptable as a means of self-defence?

Well, does it?

Is Tony Blair the man who's freedom will bring forward true global terrorism as a defence against being the victims of western backed war criminal's in the future?

Well, does it?

Does Tony Blair's continuing freedom...demand a terrorist response?

Assassins not terrorists

"Does Tony Blair's continuing freedom...demand a terrorist response?"

No, not at all. A terrorist response would be to kill innocents to terrify the public. There is a legal duty placed on you by the Nuremberg principles to assassinate Blair though if he remains unprosecuted, and that extends to his cabinet and successors.

Good luck with that.
