but am excluded from this event due to being a wheelchair user. this event was posted about previously and i asked for access info. instead of this being provided i have been accused of being a racist sabateur. very sad day indeed. hope the event is a success all the same, just wish i could be there to enjoy it.

access details

I have not been to the venue but got this info from another event there.
Accessibility: The event will happen on the ground floor. There are few steps at the front door but there will be a ramp. Toilets are not very wheelchair friendly. People will be here to help as much as they can. Let us know if you have particular needs.
email  londonfreeschool@riseup.net for more info
Hope this helps.

thanks but

i really appreciate the last two comments, thank you. i am sorry to say that isn't as helpful as i am sure you hoped it would be however. i do actually need to be sure that there is a ramp before i book my carer and make all of the necessary arrangements to come to this event. too many times i have made all my arrangements and got my hopes up only to find when i arrive at the venue that the ramp is not available "yet" or is broken, or doesn't exist. it costs me money and effort but most of all its humiliating and disappointing in ways i can't really explain in words.

the ramp that "will" be provided the following weekend may not be provided this weekend and the squatters have given no sign that it will be. still i really appreciate your comments folks and the fact that a ramp is at least on its way. at least when i am able to enter the building i will then be able to look at their toilets and see if i can find a way to make them accessible, and not being able to use a toilet can be a big problem for many wheelchair users (can even be life threatening, for those with spinal injuries for example).

thats great thank you for letting us know. its too late for me for this weekend but at least in future if you have another event i presume the ramp will be available then which is great. please please could you try to remember to post info like that in the original post in future? also about toilets as they are very important. thank you.
