courts attacked in bristol

dolly parsons | 08.02.2010 17:34 | Repression | Social Struggles

Last night the magistrates court next to the bus station in the middle of bristol was attacked. all the reachable windows were smashed out and spray paint messages left on the walls "fuck the law not the poor!"

we know that the court 'justice' system is nothing but a farse designed and run to protect the wealth and power that rules this rotten society. we know that this system is our enemy, it does not protect us. we know that to achieve a world where we might control our own lives and find solutions to our own problems we must first fight to bring this world to the ashes that it so deserves.
this done in solidarity and anarchist greetings to everyone fucked over by the courts, probation, police, bosses, and everyone fighting class struggle against the power in the social war that is brought down on us.

shame that

the BBC only reported 'obscenities' and 'damage' and failed to mention the political message, or indeed mention any message at all!

Good on who ever is responsible though, bristol needs more public displays of resistance!

magistrates non compatible with magna charta

The magistrates court is a direct contradiction to the principal that all should be equal and free without distinction of class or status. The magistrates privilege excludes the common man from influence over the laws of his community.

Magna Carta article 39

Nullus liber homo capiatur, vel imprisonetur, aut desseisetur de libero tenemento, vel libertatibus, vel liberis consuetudinibus suis, sut utlagetur, aut exuletur, aut aliquo modo destruatur, nec super eum ibimus, nec super eum mittemus, NISI PER LEGALE JUDICIUM PARIUM SUORUM, vel per legem terrae

'No free man be captured, or imprisoned, or diseased of his freehold, and or of his liberties, or of his free customs, or be outlawed, or exiled, or in any way destroyed, nor will we proceed against him by force or proceed against him by arms, EXEPT BY LEGALE JUDGEMENT OF HIS PEARS, or the law of the land.'

The jury system is under great threat by parliament partly because it is expensive and partly because they let too many innocent political prisoners walk free, and embarrass the police; the thugs of the ruling class.
Close down these corrupt institutions or we will close them down our way.

@ seen as you advocate attacks against prisons I'm guessing you are against their existence.

where do you suggest murderers, rapists, child molesters, muggers etc should be kept?

Where to "keep them"?

10.02.2010 11:53

'where do you suggest murderers, rapists, child molesters, muggers etc should be kept?'

Why did they murder?
Why did they rape?
Why did they child molest?
Why did they mug?

When we can answer these questions on an individual basis we can decide where to "keep them". Until such time they should be "kept" somewhere we can find out these answers for each case. Putting humans into "storage" serves no purpose. The prison system is designed to stop these difficult questions from being asked. Do you want to build a society where these crimes don't happening in future or just reap revenge?
