Anti-capitalist presence at wave

A few turned out but not so many as could have been or even as expected, but then what do you expect? One communst red flag was present and some of anarchist flags... I reckon in all about 40 people... It was good that it was organised and they got their message across.

It was good to see even though numbers were down no doubt due to some having gone off to Copenhagen, the other fake leftists, social reformers, trots and other fake leftists would not come anyway to an anti-capitalist bloc! Hardly! They would rather curry favour with the establishment rather than fight it in the true meaning of the word. However, the few that did turn up got their message across via a megaphone chanting "burn the bankers not the planet", "save the planet- smash the system", " burn cops - not coal" , "no coal, no bailout, no capitalism" and others. As usual, everywhere they went the cops came out of the wood and began writing notes and and blabla over their walkies. Definately there could have been a bigger presence in the anti-capitalist bloc. The anti-capitalist movement needs to grow here in Britain I think. I reckon now is really the time to put aside ideological differences and interpretations of history and concentrate on building a truly militant anti-capitalist movement encompassing all militant left groups, whether they be communist or anarchist etc, and unite in actions.... That way the ruling class will take it more seriously......but if the left movement remains sectarian and picky, choosy and elusive.......we only assist the ruling class instead of working towards smashing it. The more divided we are, the easier it is to keep it that way for them. In my view, anybody or any group sowing sectarianism only assists the ruling class. Now is the time to really start building truly anti-capitalist movement. We have got nowhere so far split and divided, that's the way it will remain unloess we draw in all hard left militant forces and groups into one bloc. Then we can show a f--k to the bourgsioise! All unite! Smash the system!
