Carter Ruck stop the reporting of Parliament

Seems according to the Guardian  http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/oct/12/guardian-gagged-from-reporting-parliament they can't report from Parliament now. The infamous Carter Ruck is up to it's tricks again. You must wonder what bit of the public proceedings of parliament  http://www.publications.parliament.uk/cgi-bin/newhtml_hl?DB=semukparl&STEMMER=en&WORDS=trafigura&ALL=trafigura&ANY=&PHRASE=&CATEGORIES=&SIMPLE=&SPEAKER=&COLOUR=red&STYLE=s&ANCHOR=muscat_highlighter_first_match&URL=/pa/cm200809/cmordbk2/91013o02.htm#muscat_highlighter_first_match they can't report about Trafigura and Carter Ruck.

The BBC had some fun too back in September Newsnight did a feature on the issue of the company dumping waste and harming a hell of a lot of people round Sierra Leone  http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/newsnight/8259765.stm The original e-mails are even online  http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/sep/16/trafigura-email-files-read

So what's the new news that makes gagging people worth it. Not that gagging is really helping the case. The information was already out there, and so it's published on the web. In this case it seems it's even already available on UK sites, rather than the usual need to publish internationally (I believe this counts as internationally too). It's trending on twitter at the moment inevitably (try #carter-ruck #guardian #trafigura) In fact the only people who are having difficulty talking about it are the people who happen to be the 'free press' on a small island just off France.
