Complaint has been lodged against film actor Emraan Hashmi and producer / director Mahesh Bhatt with the Commissioner of Mumbai Police bearing no.13472 dated August 2nd, 2009.

Kindly refer to the media reports and joint statements of film actor Emraan Hashmi along with producer / director Mahesh Bhatt about purchase of property / flat in Nibbana Cooperative Housing Society on Pali Hill in Bandra from Shri M D Suvarna , owner of the flat. As per the allegations leveled by Emraan Hashmi and Mahesh Bhatt, against the said society office bearers are communal in nature which is a criminal conspiracy to divide the society.
Hence criminal proceedings may kindly be initiated against both of them under intimation to us.
