New Antifa Newsletter Out

Antifa England | 28.04.2009 03:27 | Anti-racism

Issue 3 of ‘No Pasaran!’ is now out.

The latest issue of ‘No Pasaran!’, the Antifa England newsletter, is now out. You can either obtain a copy from your local Antifa group or download it in ready to print PDF format from the Antifa website –  http://www.antifa.org.uk/nopasaran.htm

Issue 3 contains plenty of news of recent militant antifascist activity, including actions in Burnley, Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Kendal, Leeds, London, and Wigan (‘Stop, Hammer Time!’) There are articles on the BNP’s unlikely attempt to sell Irish Republican ballads, and on the latest attempt by ‘Searchlight’ to hoodwink antifascists. ‘Cranks’ Corner’ makes a return, focusing on some of British fascism’s biggest idiots (and in the case of Kevin Watmough, one of the smallest.) We also look at what happened when the BPP (Brown Pants Party) tried to ‘reclaim the streets’ of Leeds, and report on the latest ‘Blub & Dishonour’ security breach, what’s happening with the BNP’s ‘Red, White, & Blue’ scumfest, and on an ‘accident’ waiting to happen in Barnsley.

There’s an updated contacts list, with Antifa groups now active in Bedford, Bristol, Cumbria, Gloucester, London, Norfolk, Nottingham, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. If you don’t live in one of those places, you can still get involved, and Antifa also encourage and support all constructive autonomous antifascist activity, as our statement on the front page of ‘No Pasaran!’ (reproduced below) makes clear.

Check out ‘No Pasaran!’ and get involved in stopping the rise of the BNP.

A CALL TO ARMS!

While most of us are struggling with the effects of the current crisis in capitalism, the British National Party are busy making hay. They see the bosses’ recession as a political windfall, and just as Hitler used Germany's economic problems to scapegoat the Jews, they are scapegoating 'immigrants' and asylum-seekers. The BNP were smashed off the streets by militant antifascists in the past, but now they are beginning to crawl back out of the sewers to spread their racist poison in our communities. It is time to stand and fight.

Antifa is committed to confronting fascism wherever it appears, but we cannot be everywhere. If the BNP are to be defeated, whole communities must unite against them, and all autonomous antifascists must organize to defend their communities and help stop the rise of the BNP. Despite what the middle-class Left tell us, this will take more than petitions or appeals to politicians, it will take direct action.

Throughout the country the BNP are holding meetings, paper-sales, and street stalls on a regular basis. Whenever they come out onto the streets we have to be there to confront them. Now is the time to stop the BNP. Now is the time to act.

By any means necessary.

to RWB comment

28.04.2009 12:14

Antifa stated a mobilisation (and callout) of militant opposition to the RWB before the UAF and the usual suspects even muttered a word of countering the sad puddle of piss that the BNP put on.

Confrontation

Re: splitters

28.04.2009 13:02

It's a shame the UAF etc couldn't 'stay with the main demo' in opposing the RWB. The liberal tailgating of militant anti-fascism must not be allowed to neuter confrontational tactics.

Home Truths

28.04.2009 14:18

Two things have become apparent about you 'anti-fascists'-

1. You are hypocrites. There is not one of you who would not shout 'enough' when immigration levels reach critical levels in your own country. Many are now shouting 'enough', and sometime in the near future, as in schools and towns the white indigenous people become the minority, you will as well. Even though you will have to feel the overwhelming burdon of guilt for the remainder of your days for doing so - just as this PC crazy, Marxist government want you to.

You are also hypocrites because you shout about democracy and freedom of speech, but it turns out you only want it when it when others' opinions agree with your own. The fact is, true democracy is allowing others a point of view even if you disagree with it.

2. You are cowards. Though it should be onbvious to anyone capable of thinking, the REAL fascists are actually in number 10 at this moment: it is they who have killed 100,000 innocent Iraqis, introduced a police state, all but banned once legal protest, are planning on bringing in their ID cards and numerous databases...yet you are too gutless, or stupid, to take action against these people. So instead you go for the easy option. I don't blame you, to go after the real fascists in Britain would bring the power of the state down on you big time.

Hypocritical and gutless: that just about sums you lot up. How Common Purpose and the NWO must be laughing now...

28.04.2009 18:20

mike- most antifa activists dont limit themselves to standing up against the british nonces party and the british paedo party morons, you are quite right that the labour government are fascistic, but laughably you also call them marxists! which part of marx's theories are they implementing mike? (whilst simultaneously being 'the real fascists!'). the bnp et al are useful idiots for the british state aint they mike.

I think he is basically calling you Liberal fascists which is a real danger at the moment. Telling people what they can/cant do through the use of political correctness.

an example is if anyone criticises lax immigration controls then there is a huge backlash of "your racist" and all discussion is trampled upon. That is a good example of fascism as you get.

immigration control is authoritarian and "fascist"

28.04.2009 21:08

Immigration control *is* authoritarian and quasi-fascist.

Why should a powerful hierarchical state be able to tell people where they can move to? People have moved around for thousands of years.

At a very local level, an area may be unsuitable for more people to move in because of overpopulation, but there is no reason to stop people migrating in general.

I think the idiots who toe the immigration control line are the ones bowing down to political correctness.

Nope

28.04.2009 21:10

"That is a good example of fascism as you get."

Funny Mike 2, I thought Nazi Germany was as good an example of fascism as you'd get and nope, stopping people from criticising foreigners wasn't one of their strong points. Haha, fascists are funny when they call everyone else fascists. Labour aren't fascist, they're totalitarian twats, the BNP are fascists. That means, they like Labour, only worse.

immigration control is cool

28.04.2009 21:58

>> Immigration control *is* authoritarian and quasi-fascist......

Its not really a "powerful hierarchical state". Its a large proportion of the UK population who think the immigration controls are somewhat like a floodgate that is wide open.

I can think of dozens of reasons for wanting tighter immigration control that do not fall into a fascist label. Three off the cuff:
- Diseases (TB / HIV - oh look TB is rife in the UK again because we joined europe)
- Protecting local economy (imagine if Mauritius had an open border policy?)
- Culture reasons. Like understanding courtesy. Allowing me to be able to do simple things like get my car out of the parking bay and not be blocked in by hundreds of muslims rushing to the mosque for prayer who just dump their cars blocking everyone in because they are late for prayer. Or not parking in disabled parking spots because they are closer to the entrance. Or queueing. Just little things - but things we kinda appreciate in the UK.

I shouldn't reply to the other post because he's mentioned Nazis and fascism in the same sentence. If they think the UK is using the state so the aryan race can realise its destiny as the master race then they are barking mad and need to read up on the true horror of what nazi germany stood for rather than trying to trivialise it

Why are the fascists so worried that the "whites will become the minority"?

Why does that matter? Are there people really concerning themselves with the colour of skin?

It's quite sad really, if they weren't such nasty little shits it would almost be a shame to keep smashing them off the streets.

A white who doesn't care about colour of the majority.

Bearing in mind the discussion on this thread about the possibility of the BNP having a public presence in Leeds this Saturday, isn't it a bit odd that this item has been removed from the Leeds-Bradford newswire?
