Join the March for Capitalism - May 9, Manchester

Capitalism Represents Acceptable Policy (CRAP) | 23.04.2009 20:20 | Culture | Social Struggles

Meet in front of Central Library, St. Peter's Square, Manchester, at 2pm on May 9.

Capitalism Rocks!
Capitalism Rocks!

Come and celebrate how wonderful capitalism is! It is without doubt the best system for shamelessly exploiting people, animals, and natural resources, so let's make sure that a minority can stay filthy rich while the exploited majority suffer from wars, poverty, and misery. We need to thank the folk of Manchester for bailing us out with their taxes, tell them we still need to steal more of their money, and really show them how little we care. Come and let's tour the city centre saluting the great work of friends like Starbucks, McDonald's, and TESCO for being true to their values of slavery, profit, and greed. I'm sure we all have swimming pools and private jets to maintain, so we need to save capitalism from ludicrous threats of democracy, human rights, and environmentalism.

Stupid stunt

This is exactly the kind of stupidity engaged in by anarchists.

Unfortunately the struggle against capitalism is very serious and if it fails leads to the deaths of millions (4 million in VietNam, 1 million in Indonesia, 3 million in Korea, 0.25m in East Timor, and hundreds of thousands in Chile, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Kenya, South Africa) not to forget the millions who died in two imperialist world wars in 1914-1918 and 1939-1945.

Anti-capitalism is not a joke, except for middle class, predominantly white, armchair 'anarchist' rebels who would know a revolution if they wandered into one.
