Modern Movement

Came across this, what a fine bunch, does anybody have any idea who is behind them?
Might be useful to organise a counter demo.

Counter-Demo: Build Heathrow-3!
Support Airport Expansion: Thursday 19 February, 17.30 -19.30 on Parliament Square, East Footway
Following the government’s go-ahead for the building of a third runway at Heathrow back in January, various environmental and anti-flying groups have promised to oppose this development (and keep us grounded!) Campaign against Climate Change will be in front of Downing Street on 19 February to ‘take the message to Gordon Brown’ that we apparently cannot go on having ‘more flights’ and to urge him to join the 21st century. How ironic then that the anti-airport expansion lobby want to keep us in the 19th century and stop people flying!

The Institute of Ideas is the refuge of communists turned libertarian 'do-anything-for-a-dollar' climate change deniers.
Facebook site for the group here: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=44525127543
lists admin people for the site. The creator is Patrick Hayes:

Another IoI person
Other adminers are:
Richard Reynolds (UEA, spokesperson for Academic Freedom organisation http://www.afaf.org.uk/)
David Bowden ( http://www.culturewars.org.uk/index.php/site/contributor/david_bowden/)
Abigail Ross-Jackson ( http://www.battleofideas.org.uk/index.php/2008/speaker_detail/1715/)
They mostly seem linked, in different ways, through IoI, Culture Wars and Battle of Ideas as well as the Manifesto Club: http://www.manifestoclub.com/about which has this campaign: http://www.manifestoclub.com/flightfreedom
That's the monkeys, on to the organ ginders.

I thought this smelled of the SpikedOnline people

This is an excellent resource that exposes the entryist network of people were formerly part of the Living Marxism magazine: http://www.lobbywatch.org/lm_watch.html
SpikedOnline, the Institute of Ideas, and many other front groups are all part of this network of former Marxists turned right-wing "libertarians". They are virulently anti-environmentalist, anti-animal rights, pro-legalisation of child pornography and have many other strange views, but often pop up in the mainstream media without any mention being made of their affiliations.

Yeah, it's them...
