Remembrance Day Blues For Norfolk BNP

East Anglian Antifascists | 16.11.2008 11:58 | Anti-racism

There’s nothing quite like a fascist comedy to perk you up on a sunny Remembrance Sunday. Especially when it involves the no hopers of Norfolk BNP.

Receiving information that the BNP in Norwich would be making an appearance at the Remembrance Sunday Parade outside City Hall along with ‘dignitaries’ such as MP’s Ian Gibson and Charles Clarke, a few anti-fascists braved the early Sunday morning to hunt down said ‘brave nationalists’ only to find their prey absent from the proceedings.

Excited that the BNP may have choked themselves to death over night in memory of all those who died fighting fascism and Nazism in Europe during the early half of the last century, a phone call was made to their ‘insider’ to find out exactly what was going on.

It seems the Regional Organiser Steve Ames was close to having a heart attack having had his application for the BNP to join in the Remembrance Service denied. Strange as nationally the BNP appear to be frequenting Royal British Legion Clubs and conning the organisation into thinking them true well-wishers instead of opportunistic fascist scum. Clearly though in this case they have Ames well and truly sussed.

Meanwhile a rather red faced and tearful Ames who is proprietor of  http://tridentperformance.co.uk (according to our contact “a shit and ringer car company that he runs from his shed") nearly ploughed into a tree when receiving the sad news of ‘fuck off you wont be coming’ then burst into tears after remembering telling all and sundry in his local how the BNP would be attending.

Ames last year re-took control of the Norfolk BNP Organiser position after Robert Wright, proprietor of ‘The Bookman’ bookseller shop in Norwich, showed his total ineptitude to all matters involving organisation.

Wright, within hours of taking up the position had managed to inadvertently forward all the local memberships email addresses to anti-fascists which led to names and addresses of many of the BNP’s top activists falling into the wrong hands.

To save face Ames quickly organised another less public remembrance wreath laying ceremony in an undisclosed location far from prying eyes. One wonders how long said wreath remained in place.

To really rub salt into BNP wounds after UKIP told them to shove their request for an ‘alliance’, it was more than funny to watch as the UKIP wreath was rested against the cenotaph outside city hall during the service.

Ames really shouldn’t worry about such a little thing.

What is most likely to cause problems within the BNP locally is when the rumours get out that Ames has been allegedly banging Wright’s partner at The Malting’s Hotel in Weybourne.

Our leading light BNP hero and fundraiser was seen recently staggering out of the Prince of Denmark in Sprowston, Norwich, drunk as a judge leaning up against a lamp post and pissing himself.

That’s the ‘master race’ for you!
