SAFETY standards at AWE Burghfield were under the spotlight again on Wednesday (November 14) as an application to build a new components factory on the site were considered.
Anti-nuclear campaigners raised concerns about the site at a meeting of the West Berkshire Council eastern area planning committee on Wednesday, where AWE was granted planning permission to build a new components manufacturing facility.
