Two attempted immigration raids in Glasgow

Twice in one evening police and immigration officials attempt to raid a home in Glasgow.

At six thirty this evening immigration officers and the police attempted to raid a home on Annette street in Govanhill, south Glasgow. Two of the blue "dawn raid" vans, an accompanying police van and a car carrying home office officials attempted to gain entry to a flat at 41 Annette street. Despite making a hell of a lot of noise, we could hear the banging outside over the road, they failed to detain anyone. There was no one home!
Obviously annoyed that their vile scheme had been foiled by the resident of Govanhill having the cheek to not be home when they called they returned again at ten thirty. And again there was no one in.
If anyone reading this happens to know anyone living at this address who may be claiming asylum to warn these people and advise them to stay with friends. It is feared that the home office will try something again. If you live in the area please try and be on Annette street tomorrow morning in case they try to dawn raid the house. They may come as early as six o'clock. Please be on the street to show that the home office cannot play with the lives of Glasgow residents.

in the picture was driven by the home office officials.
Sorry about the pictures, if someone could resize them that would be great.

I welcome this kind of police activity within Govanhill, after having a gang vietnamese illegal immigrants operating a Grass factory below my flat, which they nearly managed to burn to the ground due to faultyl lights they had installed, I say to every one out there it could be your flat at risk, just have a look round govanhill and see the the third world shanty town it has become, and ask yourself why has it gone downhill so rapidly. If only the immigration officers and the police could put as much effort in to deporting smack dealers , crack dealers and pimps of govanhill as they do deporting innocent woman and kids.
