A pilot scheme involving lie-detecting technology is to be used to screen benefit claimants in Harrow
The Department of Work & Pensions has announced a pilot scheme to use lie-detecting technology to screen benefit claimants in Harrow. Voice risk analysis technology already in use in the insurance industry analyses changes in caller's voice to give an indication of the level of risk but will be used to screen claimants for housing benefit and council tax benefit, and will be extended to users of Jobcentre Plus later in the year.

if you have done something good you have nothing to fear

I would quite like a job but I don't care much either way. Now I have learned to live on no money, I know I could do some good with whatever I earned. I admit I used to earn wads of cash and do fuck all of worth with it, didn't even enjoy it. Now even a pitance would be useful, but I am genuinely blacklisted. So what is to fear ? I apprecite the opportuntity to prove to the completely dismisive Job Centre staff that I am not a faker.
If you fear this VRA, you are too lazy. You are either to lazy as an activists, or just too darn greedy.
If you are hardworking, honest and political, you don't need to avoid work - work avoids you.
