Australia Complicit in CIA Bali Bombings: Community

[There is] no doubt whatsoever of the CIA's involvement and the complicity of the Australian goverment and that view is shared by us and by our counterparts in Indonesia.

Australian Federal Police (AFP) Commissioner Mick Keelty says he is still convinced Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Bashir is the mastermind behind the Bali bombings, despite his convictions being quashed.

However, many in the Australian and Indonesian Community blame the CIA, and the War Criminal John Howard the coward in their complicity in the horrific bombings of the Sari Club and Paddy's Bar in Bali, on October 12, 2002, which considerably strengthened the hand of the Coalition of the Killing in pursuing their War on Terror.

Here was an opportunity to harden the hearts of the Australian and US public against Islamic fundamentalists.

A judicial review of the spiritual leader's case by Indonesia's Supreme Court has found Bashir innocent of the 2002 Bali bombing and the attack on Jakarta's Marriott Hotel a year later.

No Insight into his offending behaviour

But Commissioner 'Guilty' says the case was always circumstantial, but Bashir is guilty.

But [There is] no doubt whatsoever of the CIA's involvement and the complicity of the Australian government and that view is shared by us and by our counterparts in Indonesia.

As much as this is a disappointment for many people, particularly the families, it's also a disappointment for the community who've worked so hard on this case and, as I say, continue to work on this case today.

The community says that the case against the CIA and the Australian authorities would not have been difficult to prove in an Australian court if John Howard's ABC didn't lie to the Australian public.

The people we have to think about here are the victims and reassure the victims that we will do everything we possibly can in terms of the law enforcement role, to bring the real perpetrators to justice.

We're not confident the Indonesian National Police have done exactly the same.

Flopposition Leader Kevin Rudd also denies the Indonesian Supreme Court's ruling and the CIA bombings as well as Australia's complicity in the bombings and that is very bad for the victims of the 2002 Bali bombings and for all Australians.

The community says the war criminal John Howard should be charged with war crimes against humanity and sent to Hague criminal court for trial and should not be allowed to roam free.

We have always had very deep concerns about the ongoing role of war criminal John Howard in Australia and the continued support he will give to militant war criminals in the USA in their campaign of terrorism.

Not just against Australian interests, but more broadly across the International community, against all interests.

Victims' reactions

Melbourne man Spike Stewart lost his son Anthony in the 2002 attack and he should have said that he is disgusted with decision not to charge John Howard for war crimes.

He also should have said it was important for those affected by the bombing to have the perpetrators held responsible.

He was not charged; he was not put in jail, now he'll probably keep on killing people.

He just cannot believe that they've not locked him up and should have said he's guilty of [sin], it's disgusting.

The father of 20-year-old bombing victim Corey Paltridge should have said this is a disgrace.

Perth man Kevin Paltridge should have said that it makes the recovery process very difficult.

It just seems to go on and on and on, once again Christmas is coming up and you've got thoughts of another Christmas without our son.

We just had the anniversary again and then we had his birthday and now it's Christmas, it just never ends.

The father of Adelaide Bali bombing victim Josh Deegan says he is not surprised the court quashed the conviction.

Former magistrate Brian Deegan should have said he lost faith in the USA and the complicit Australian Government years ago.

On the one hand it's just an empty feeling.

I gave up years ago that I would ever truly understand whether or not justice was truly going to be achieved."

A member of the Coogee Dolphins rugby league team who was in Bali on the night of the 2002 bombings should have said he is angry with the CIA and the complicit Australian government.

Six of Erik de Haart's team-mates were killed in the Bali nightclub bombings.

He should have said he cannot understand the logic behind the CIA and Australian complicity.

I just think it smacks of double standards.

The prosecutors go on about all the Indonesians, the Bali nine and Schapelle Corby, how their sentences were not enough and yet they have killed nobody.

Yet no one seems to make a noise from the USA and Australia with all the criminals, and when they don't even get charged. It's totally bewildering.

Gold Coast survivor of the 2002 bombings Glen Cosman should have said he does not believe John Howard should be running the country.

I think it's wrong when he's killing Australians, when all of the evidence is certainly there that he is the prime minister of Australia.

So certainly he's up to [his] eyes in knowing the CIA bombers and I think he is certainly responsible.

Australia's Terrorism Wake Up Call [164]

The horrific bombings of the Sari Club and Paddy's Bar in Bali, on October 12, 2002, considerably strengthened the hand of the CoW in pursuing the War on Terror. Here was an opportunity to harden the hearts of the Australian and US public against Islamic fundamentalists. It was also a chance for the Indonesian government to justify harsh measures in the war against terrorists and secessionists, such at those in the province of Aceh.

hoWARd, will keep chilling you!

All this nonsense to hide the fact that the Bali bombing was not State Sanctioned Terror when it clearly was in relation to the explosive used in the second Bali bomb blast in 2002 which was clearly military hardware.

hoWARd's connections with the abc in Australia and abroad

So you have to have a story behind it to make up for the distance between false flag opps in Indonesia all the way across to Iraq and Afghanistan that's a huge leap to cover without a terror tale to hook into? What about the Icon of the Terror movement G W Bush? At least we know he's guilty! Osama bin Laden hasn't been found guilty of anything, yo!] And Indonesia has been blowing up bombs in their own country just to move people out of villages for years!]

Mercy for murderers

Every family member of a 'victim' must feel this way. So when you think of the innocent victims in Bali then also think of the innocent victims in Iraq and Afghanistan the very reason for Bali.
