I've been writing furious emails and letters to so many bastards over the past week, I just suddenly realised people who die for such worthy causes leave family and friends behind them. I thought of Brad but I never thought of them. I know Brad isn't the only person who has died from this latest repression but his death has provoked such powerful reaction from Indymedia if not the mainstream, such admirable resistance, that I feel the need to congratulate and commiserate with those who were close to him. I'm not sure if it is appropriate to even ask this, but if anyone knows how I can can express this without causing further hurt then I would be grateful, please pass this message onto them. I'd like to pay a personal tribute somehow. The best tribute, the one he'd want I'd guess, is to keep this cause burning, but I'd also like to send a personal message to those who grieve the most. His name should be listed with Rachel Corrie and all those of us who are prepared to risk our lives to protect the unfortunates that those around us oppress with violence.

Well done Brad for being braver and more able than me. Well done his family and friends for making such a man. He won't be forgotten. Don't be depressed the rest of you, and don't be discouraged. Be angry, be active and be inspired.
