I have just recieved a phone call from an eyewitness outside Old Street police station that some 40 people have massed in protest against the beating and possible arrest of two Asian youths in Shoreditch.

The facts are uncertain at the moment, but it is believed the two Asian youths were attacked by police and beaten.

They may have been arrested and are beleived to be inside Old Street police station now.

Upto 40 people have massed outside the police station in protest.

Update on police attack on Asian youths

19.10.2006 02:53

The two young Asian men have been found by a photojournalist at Brixton police station.

Not much more is known about the incident or the state of the two men.

Unspeculated reports from witnesses said the two were grabbed by police, put in a patrol car, driven to some back streets and then beaten.

I will report more as it comes through.

Got Rodney King, Anyone?????

19.10.2006 02:06

The same old thing is happinin again is it not????

Reading that article just sends chills down your spine, calling the recollection for Rodney King incident in the 90's.
What a joke, the goverment asks {MODERATE} Muslims, to target extremists, when the police give incentive to young Muslims, like myself, to go and do the oppisite!!!!!!

But fellow Muslims like myself, we cannot fall into the pitfalls setup to trap us, and must rise above this no matter what, and this means in form of democracy, not the strapped up bomber way.

I became a White Muslim convert in April and have been in a uphill struggle to prove that Islam isn't a viloent religion, as i have found peace within it.

Finally, please all fellow muslims, prove the Goverment wrong, by not falling into these pitfalls that have been setup by people around us. SALAM ALI KUM (MAY PEACE BE WITH YOU)
