Is Labour now ready to dump Blair over Iraq?

CC Ryder | 20.08.2006 10:35

Demands for Blair to quit over his slavish support for George W Bush are to be taken to Labour's annual conference next month.

An emergency resolution has been drafted and will be sent to all constituency Labour parties calling for a leadership election within two months of the conference.

It will be tabled by the Campaign for Labour Party Democracy, who have four members of the National Executive, including anti-war campaigner Walter Wolfgang.

The calls for Blair to go will be boosted by support for John Prescott, since he said President Bush's performance on the Middle East road map was "crap".

The call for a new leader is also intended as a spur to Gordon Brown to force Mr Blair out.

The group want Prescott to stay on as deputy and let Brown secure the leadership.

Labor IS Blair.
Blair is Bush.

Also... Walter Wolfgang is Labor is Blair
Prescott is Labor is Blair
Gordy Brown is Labor is Blair

Labour as a party has been killed by Blair - no point waiting for 'it'

Best that we organise and do our bits when ands wherever we can.

Today of all days, 22 August 2006!

The Blair-propping Guardian admitted as much. Blair is waiting around for the official Tories to be ready to get into No. 10.

We need no more proof

Getting rid of Blair from office will be marginally relevant.

He leaves; another occupant gets into the same practices.

We have to widen our understanding and think of ways to actually stop the warmongers.

No time to make ‘stop the war’ slogans only.

Those do not stop the wars.

What can stop the wars?
