http://irrepressible.info/ - help stop Internet repression - new AI site

"Chat rooms monitored. Blogs deleted. Websites blocked. Search engines restricted. People imprisoned for simply posting and sharing information."

Whatever you might think of Amnesty Int - try their new website urging us all to 'publish the unpublishable'

What can you loose but your freedom? Anyone who publishes 'anti-govt, anti-PTB' information already has an NSA/FBI/Mossad file on them anyway.

Even Indymedia seems not immune to pressure (try publishing on the Washington site, f'rinstance!!) - note my last post on the possibly soon to be knobbled excellent documentary on 911 - 'Loose Change 2' that 'somehow' lost its title bar (although it shows up okay in the archive page)...

http://irrepressible.info/ might for a while at least be a better bet for global issues govts seem utterly determined to squash at any cost...

AI was responsible for the Kuwait babies-thrown-from-incubator lie

30.05.2006 18:35

When anyone move to promote Amnesty International, I will remind everyone of the organisation's known activities.

AI is DIRECTLY responsible for the MILLIONS murdered in Iraq (via war, sanctions, and then more war/occupation). Why? Because back at the time of the Gulf War, when there was the possibility of negotiation to remove US/UK ally Iraq from US/UK ally Kuwait, certain propaganda lies was manufactured to ensure this peaceful option did not happen.

One such lie was that satellite photos showed Iraq forces massed on the border of Saudi Arabia. AI's role was helping create and push (via ads taken in major newspapers) the other famous lie, namely that Iraq forces were throwing babies out of incubators in Kewait, so that said items could be shipped back to Iraq.

Sometimes an asset is used in such a way that afterwards damages the credibility of the asset, but the cost is considered worth it at the time. A calculation is made that most of the casual liberal left is so stupid that they won't even notice, or will return their support if a certain amount of cleaning of the asset is done afterwards.

It is because of posts like mine and similar ones from others that the controllers of the AI asset panic, and attempt to swing opinion by trivial swing activity. Hence the recent upswing of 'expected' AI comment against some US activities. Of course, this current AI 'anti-censorship' program is about more than a llittle whitewashing. Like 'Iraq Body Count', the Iraq holocaust denying program that encourages people to use its ultra-low figure for the number of people murdered by Blair in Iraq (the methodology of IBC is the same as that used by imprisoned so-called holocaust-deniers in German and Austrian prison, punished for stating that Hitler had far fewer victims than commonly accepted), AI is seeking to 'tag' anti-Bush/anti-Blair protest sites.

Most recently, AI denied the genocide of Fallujah, and actually blamed the citizens of that town for their fate. This is common practice for AI, since they specialise in labelling and blaming the Palestinians for the atrocities carried out against them.

AI, like Respect, the official Green Party, the RSPCA, etc etc is what it is. A static centralised movement that was all too easily targetted, and all too easily turned into a state asset. If you care about Human Rights, Anti-War, the health of the planet, or Animal Rights, you should have NOTHING to do with any of these organisations. Of course, this is a great irritant to many liberals, who want the supermarket convenience of a safe donation from their credit card, and an 'easy clean middle-class affiliation' where like-minded, like-typed people who 'think' and 'act' on their behalf.

When people work in a harmless, predictable group, their activities are child's play for the state to analyse, dissected, understand, and then control. This is the job of the state security services in the BEST of times. We live in the WORST of times, where state security is financed, staffed, funded, and legally protected to the max.

So to conclude:
-AI is in a whitewashing (of itself) phase.
-AI is happy to help identify potential troublemakers online by encouraging such people to identify themselves (and from such pools are not only found the dangerous enemies of the state, but people who can be turned, and made assets).
-Any improved rep AI can build will be given to the anti-Iran propaganda cause as the war draws closer, just as AI did with Iraq, and the Gulf War.

twilight

Agreed, twilight but...

It's another outlet and nobody wallowing in today's insanity is blameless on all counts - that's why I included the caveat...

No doubt by contributing to this site, our names, comments and (Bliar forbid!) subversion will be dutifully recorded at the NSA etc etc but SO WHAT? Even obvious cointelpro sites like FTW, Prison Planet and The Nation remain outlets for at least some form of free speech.

At least it sends the PTB the message that not all of us have yet succumbed to the BigMac brain rot chemicals...

Let's see if Irrepressible will publish Galloway's latest inflamation, hmm?

On another but related subject, have you archived 'Loose Change 2' yet? There may never be a big-screen version, now...
