In a surprise development the Home Secretary, Charles Clark announced his intention to re-introduce the transportation of convicts. Mr Clark said "They had the right idea in the 18th and 19th century when criminals were sent to the Australian wilderness."

Politicians of all hues expressed alarm at these developements. Tory shadow spokesman said - "we cannot turn the clock back like this. Britain needs to show the world the meaning of liberty and justice". Even the BNP were opposed "The Englishman's home is his castle. But bring back hanging for the scum of the earth".

Charles Clark issued a further statement to clarifying the proposal saying "this only applies to foreign criminals"

"Oh that's all right then" said all the politicians.

'Britain needs to show the world the meaning of liberty and justice". Even the BNP were opposed "The Englishman's home is his castle. But bring back hanging for the scum of the earth"'

So are you proposing that criminals should be given free reign over the country, not even the Communist Party is proposing that.

'"Oh that's all right then" said all the politicians.'

So we should forget their crime and let them live free on the DSS for the rest of their lives. I only hope its not your family who suffer under their hand.

We can't get rid of British criminals so I guess we shouldn't get rid of any - great logic

Well what did you expect? These people would hve an open-doors policy, allow anyone in regardless of how much of a danger they are.

I know indymdia has a non - censorship policy, but could we get rid of these two comments or else get them posted to a website for racists and fascists? Why give room to them on indy?
