This festival takes place in every city, it is not new. especially when you have craft making at the local castle which would be a better feature. I just dont see how it links in with anything. even the text saying its like a harvest festival is very misleading it is far more than that the food has been blessed and contains Gods energy that we then eat, you need to do more research

We at Nottinghamshire Indymedia, have discussed what is within our own editorial guidelines a number of times, both in Nottinghamshire and UK Kollective. We have concluded that we wish to invite and contribute posts that are beyond negative issues and news reports of actions, activism etc. We wish also to contribute items on cultural issues that help to paint a more positive image of our area / region.

I like reading about stuff like this. Indymedia is simply an independent eye on local happenings, which isn't all just activism and protests.

The mainstream press ignores most cultural festivals, yet is filled with Christmas bollocks from autumn onwards. It is refreshing and educational to have the chance to see reports and pictures of other festivals, occasions and so on...
