Channel 4 airs Washington fed propaganda against Chavez: call for action

On March 27, Channel 4 aired a propaganda report on Venezuela aimed at softening up the scene for a future US attack. Action is recommended, before all major corporate media follow the lead.
On March 27, Channel 4 aired a report on Venezuela by Jonhatan Rugman , in which Chavez is depicted as a soon to be dictator and the next Saddam.
The piece has been described by John Pilger as "one of the worst, most distorted pieces of journalism I have ever seen, qualifying as crude propaganda... utter bullshit... a disgrace from beginning to end". Pilger states that the propaganda piece is aimed at softening up the scene for a future US attack and ends his brief analysis stating that "if and when it comes (an attack on Venezuela), the Rugmans will share some of the responsibility".

The timing is just right: Condoleeza Rice has just called for an international alliance to isolate Venezuela, while public opinion in GB is driving away from Blair's neocolonialist agenda and there are growing calls for active solidarity with Venezuelas' political process.
The aim behind the strategy is simple, Goebels gave the lead: repeat a thousand times a lie it will become true as crystal before public opinion.
So far, it's been hard on them to get to the place, but if progressives don't act now, sooner or later all corporate media will follow the lead. By then, it will be too late to stop some more fireworks on your screen - and on innocent people's rooftops.
Action is recommended to condemn the trend behind this despicable propaganda media show and demand apology and reddress.

Also Iran - Total War, Oil War
02.04.2006 11:25
A senior Foreign Office source said: "Monday's meeting will set out to address the consequences for Britain in the event of an attack against Iran. The CDS [chiefs of defence staff] will want to know what the impact will be on British interests in Iraq and Afghanistan which both border Iran. The CDS will then brief the Prime Minister and the Cabinet on their conclusions in the next few days.
"If Iran makes another strategic mistake, such as ignoring demands by the UN or future resolutions, then the thinking among the chiefs is that military action could be taken to bring an end to the crisis. The belief in some areas of Whitehall is that an attack is now all but inevitable.

Scary how this ties in with Blair saying it was a mistake for him to rule out a 4th term.

RABID ZIONISTS OWN ITN- ITN MAKES CHANNEL 4 NEWS.

RABID ZIONISTS OWN ITN- ITN MAKES CHANNEL 4 NEWS.
Is this fact simple enough for you all to grasp. Channel 4 news, like The Guardian newspaper, targets the "Fairtrade" dribblers, that influencial but extremely stupid bunch of middle-class 'liberals'. ITN pushes its news broadcasts on ITV to ever more 'Telegraph' extremes to create the impression of sympathetic coverage with its Channel 4 flagship.
Please, please, please remember this: all good propaganda is well targetted to a VERY specific audience. This means that with a FULL SPECTRUM PROPAGANDA CAMPAIGN, as you have been observing in the UK for many years now, different groups honestly believe they are getting different 'messages' from 'their' mass media of choice, but in reality ALL the messages push in the same direction.
There are very few powerful leaders that will pubicly speak against Blair, and his genocidal war program. Those that do will be simultaneously attacked (in different styles) across the whole of the mass media in the West.
If you think Channel 4 is your friend, you are not just an idiot, but a person that actually invites Blair's knife in your back. YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS IN THE MASS MEDIA. The various outlets, if appropriate for their target group, will sometimes allow you to read that which has long been disseminated on the web and elsewhere. This gives you NO new information, but allows the simple-minded to delude themselves into thinking 'their' media somehow supports 'their' point of view (it doesn't).
Channel 4 in general is as left-wing as The Guardian (Blair's main pro-war, anti-muslim paper), which means that in reality it is to the right of the Telegraph. How can this be? Because The Telegraph targets the self-confessed rabid right, thus making no difference to the political balance, but Channel 4, like The Guardian, is tasked with collecting as many 'liberals' as possible and moving them behind Blair's policies of war and fascism, thus moving the overall political balance very significantly to the right.
By the way, you can read in the Times today a confession by the UK government that it took Iranian terror troops into Iraq during the invasion. Any of you recall a certain person stating OVER and OVER that the main partner of the US during the invasion of both Afghanistan and Iraq was Iran. Iran is convinced that the US will not attack her, because Blair runs the Iranian operation via London, and the Iranian government works with Blair's people at the highest level on a daily basis.
The Iranian government allows itself to be convinced by Blair that he is playing a 'double game', saying one thing in public about Iran, and doing something very different in private. The Iranians are NOT deluding themselves about the daily co-operation with the US and UK, for that ***is*** a reality. The Iranians are, however, deluding themselves that this alliance is anything other than temporary, a way to allow the Iranians themselves to dig their own graves.
Remember Hitler's treaty with Stalin? That REALLY meant that Hitler wouldn't attack Russia, didn't it. Blair also knows that you keep you friends close, but your enemies closer. If Iran was smart, it would stop thinking about the political gains of working 'secretly' with Blair, and blow the whistle on the full extent of Iranian involvement in the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. However, you will now understand how clever Blair's plan is. If Iran did declare to the world its murderous role during the invasions, it would lose the support (support AGAINST Blair's intent to attack Iran, that is) of much of the anti-war left, and sane-right. Rock meet hard place.
Chavez proposes a 911 commission. Did you read the knife job The Guardian did against Charlie Sheen over the same subject (an article created for syndication across the world's press)? Blair knows that his time ends if his (for Blair was the very TOP of the pyramid with respect to the 911 planning) 911 meme falls apart BEFORE his world war is fully underway. Chavez has chosen a point of devastating weakness if he moves with full speed and proper financial backing.
However, don't expect the meme to unravel. Truth very rarely destroys such things (anti-scientologists often decry that the silly truth about the birth of scientology fails to put followers off, but this is in the nature of well established memes- they are stronger than revealed truths). Putin has become strongman in Russia on the back of similar actions, including the Moscow apartment bombings, and we KNOW as an undisputible fact that his own people carried those out (the bombings ended when his people were caught red-handed planting a bomb- a story carried by the World's press at the time, that even had quotes from Russians saying that regardless, they would vote for Putin). When did culling the 'sheep' make a dictator weaker? Indeed, dictators tend to fall when they STOP being so ruthless, thus losing the 'respect' of the 'sheep' (how strange we humans are).

Why channel 4 threw their dummy out of the pram....
05.04.2006 09:11
Another odd thing about journalism is how and why we try to spoil our competitors' work. If the Sun leads on a story the Mirror pretends that story doesn't exist and vice versa. And at our end of the market we do it too.
When Channel 4 News ran an excellent season of programmes live from Iran recently Newsnight ran an Iran special live from Shepherd's Bush on night one to try to pre-empt them.
And when they learned we were planning a season of programmes from Latin America they raced off to Venezuela to try to beat us to a much-coveted interview with the maverick President Chavez. So persistent were their efforts that they got themselves arrested, and apparently annoyed El Presidente so much that he decided to speak out - to Newsnight.
