anti fascist leafletting success

Anti-fascist activists gave out fliers today after the holocaust memorial event at Leeds Town Hall. What better occasion to remind people that extreme far right politics and opinion is far from a thing of the past, and still needs vigorously opposing?

The response from the public was universally excellent, with many people wishing activists luck in challenging and confronting fascist ideology and activities - one woman even offered to help give out leaflets.

Oddly enough there were no white nationalists around to exercise their precious ‘freedom of speech’ in defending their hero’s big project – or denying it ever happened.

FLIER TEXT
Fascism didn’t die in 1945!
Hitler’s obscene ideology lives on through fascist organisations like the BNP. They mask their race-hate in cheap suits, but scratch the surface and you’ll find the politics of the jackboot. And the lunatic fringe – the British People’s Party and their ilk – don’t even bother to conceal their sick beliefs. Their ideology is that of the gas chambers…
Wherever fascism rears its head… it will be fought!
