Anti-racist or anti-muslim??? Excuse my suspicion on the day when Blair has ruled that those Iraqis fighting his occupation in Iraq are terrorists.

united??? UNITED???? ***UNITED***??????
You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists!!! Is THIS the kind of united that is being eluded to?

"united in our hatred of racism" would have been fine, but the statement DOES NOT say that. Instead we have 'Animal Farm' control language that implies in the clearest way that dissent and disagreement WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

Some of you may think by response a little strong- but ONLY if you have not been reading about a whole series of terrifying events that have occured on campuses in the UK and the USA during the last year. Blair has stated his intent to exterminate muslim protest movements in British universities this academic year. If Liverpool becomes the front line of his policy, I would not be surprised at all.

good luck but what's your understanding of zionism and racism?

cool nice to see some money from the NUS being put to good use on campus and hopefully in the wider community - good luck :)

just a quick question though, some time ago when we tried to get involved in an anti racist standing committee at birmingham university we discovered that it was effectively being used by the Jewish (read zionist) Student society to campaign against anti-zionism on campus and defend the state of Israel and it's occupation of Palestine - is this still true of many NUS anti-racist committees at University?

just wondered if things had changed at all and whether anti-racist groups at university are genuinely anti-racist or still a front for the Union of Jewish Students to prevent anti-racists engaging in the politics of Israel's racist policies?

Who is the racist?

"Jewish (read zionist) Student society"

Of course - you were one of the people who campaigned to have the Jewish Society abolished; just like the Nazis did.

You are the true racist, you preach the old cancer that is anti-semitism.

Zionist Bullshit

These Zionists who accuse others of being anti-Semitic are getting really boring now - don't they know that old card doesn't work anymore.
It might work with the confused liberals who occupy professional race relations positions who are too scared to fart incase they get accused of being racists but it doesn't work with real anti-fascists.

Primo Levi a brilliant writer and survivor of Auschwitz was horrified when he visited Israel/Palestine in the 1960s - he compared the Israel state to the Nazi state.

In all my years as anti fascists in Liverpool I have never once met a Zionist fighting fascism, they are usually more concerned with stopping the left or attacking anyone who dares to criticize them.
