Following the undercover BNP Secret agent, the BBC now have no legal option but to hand over video footage to the police upon demand, we spoke to 2 BBC camera men who admitted that they had given copies of 4 tapes to the police, consisting of 5 hours of wdtv quality DV recordings, they explained that they now have no option but to do so following the secret agent programme which broke the option of a court order requirement for tape copies.
SKY News, CH4, ITV are not subject to this infringment for the simple reason that they have never been stupid enough to hand over material without either a court order or written copyright agreement of consent.

as much as I agree with the destruction of the BNP, I fgeel the BBc have made a Gross error in handing on material without court orders as now they have no option but comply
