2005: End of the Apartheid
Message to the Members of the Swiss and Israeli Parliament and Government
Jews used to say: "Next year in Jerusalem".
Our wish for 2005 is the following: "Next year is the last year of apartheid in Palestine/Israel". Do whatever you can to make this dream a reality.
Our Association, which has more than 500 members inside and outside Palestine/Israel, is convinced that the only solution which can lead to peace is the creation of one Democratic State in Palestine/Israel, with equal rights for all, regardless of their religion, and the right of the Palestinian Refugees to return home. Any partition of the country will encourage violence and fundamentalism.
Join our Association! Peace needs you.

Well actually Jews living outside of Israel, STILL say it.
Regardless, your organization is seeking a united and democratic Israel/Palestine, something that does not represent the sentiments of the people in these lands.
Firstly, Israel is a democratic state already where citizens may vote regardless of their ethnic or religious background.
Secondly, Israelis and Palestinians are seeking separate entities. The history of the region shows that the root of the conflict is the clash of two distinctly different national aspirations. If Israelis and Palestinians were to separate through a two state solution, it would not mean that the sides have abandoned hopes for democratic progression. On the contrary, a separate and viable Palestinian state that is democratic and free from corruption is what the Palestinians really want.
This is why your organization has not obtained much support. With 500 members worldwide, it is a small group indeed.
