Military service in Israel - This is Racism, not the opposite

The first comment above, by "commentator", quotes admission/nonadmission to military service as evidence against religious/racist discrimination in Israel.

I point out that it is in fact exactly the opposite.

The prohibition of military service by non-jews in Israel is not a BENEFIT to minorities.
It is a clever TOOL for DISCRIMINATION.

This is because all sorts of financial benefits, subsidies and property-related advantages are given only to those who have done military service. This makes it possible to claim that these benefits are not allocated in a discriminatory manner, because the related laws make no such mention. But in FACT no non-jews can qualify, because they cannot do the qualifying military service, however much they want to do so.

I don't think it racist to express impartial admiration for the high degree of planning and organisation which Zionist proponents put into their propaganda efforts, both directly and in publishing detailed guidance for anyone who wishes to take their side.

Linking benefits to religion and race indirectly via military service in this way makes it possible for the propagandist to make these "equal society" claims, which seem convincing to the uninformed. Whilst in fact they are completely spurious.

"Commentator"'s contribution above shows further evidence of this cleverness, by reversing the logic, and presenting this evidence of racist discrimination boldly as evidence of the opposite - as if it is a kindly exemption for non-jews, proving how well they are treated. They are excluded, not excused, and huge disbenefits result.
