Just think the consumption of alcohol / drugs / so forth at peace in da park will be taxed - are you helping gain peace or simply funding more death in iraq?..
we have worked something out.. think if all the 2 million+ anti-war protestors just gave £1 instead of attending the mass march in london what could that do? ...just think all the fuel used to get people their/ organise that demo - how much tax has gone to government and how much of that tax will have gone to killing people in iraq? as the middle class ease their empire guilt in pointless protest.. just think on average each person who went on that demo spent an average £25 for that day out, a cool 50 million plus could have been given as direct aid to iraq..
rumours have it is has cost around a grand or two to organise peace in da park a festival of creativity unity and understanding? of course people will get along with white powder up the nose (funding the columbian drug trade, how radi-cool) drop an E and we all feel love.
now add the cost to our earth, add the cost of all the fuel and other consupmtions such as paper all the shit you need to get shit like this organised it slowly adds up..

we are not taking away the intent and hard work of those who have worked so hard in getting this organised, we would be the first to say well done.. we would be the first to say peace in da park is getting the politics out there..
however we ask at what cost? we ask is it radi-cool to consume for peace or act for peace in our everyday lives, consume less do more..
you might feel pleased with attending / organising at peace in da park but ask yourself how good do you feel knowing your comsumption will have killed upto ten people in iraq (taxes fund bullets) while you were at peace in da park? how good do you feel that you have committed another act of rape towards our mother, the earth, with your consumption..
now befor we are pulled up.. we agree we are hypocrites but at least made an effort to consume less, do more..
we hope for an open honest meaningful debate that this is a start of that process..
we do say well done for all the hard work in getting this going. however so often we never take the long view of this shit called capitalism someting us anti-capitalists need to start to do again, otherwise we are just repeating the same shit..
peace to ya all
