The Truth About Fallujah

Fallujah was, despite the best pretensions and posturing of the coalition, a massacre of the rankest order. Read on, and don't you dare skip a comma...

Something of an unwelcome fugitive from the grave, the 72 year old Donald Rumsfeld is increasingly inviting accusations of senility, if not downright idiocy. Reacting to reports from Al Jazeera that the US had massacred hundreds of innocent civilians in Fallujah by indiscriminate shooting, the US Secretary of Defense (sic) launched some pretty indiscriminate shooting off at the mouth. So, 'not Lenin', Lenin was "not relevant" to the 19th and 20th centuries was he? (We'll ignore your shite typing error).

You may have missed the fact that V.I Lenin led a successful revolution in Russia in 1917, part of the 20th century. This revolution inspired many others in their own struggles, such as Mao in China (another successful 20th Century revolution)

Yep, so not relevant at all then. Don't let your right wing fantasies get in the way of the facts, mate - you're doing yourself no favours.

PS - note for pedantic ultra-leftists: when I say "successful revolution" I mean that it was not crushed by the forces of reaction. Arguments about whether the revolutions were later betrayed/compromised are for a different thread.
