Blair Banned from Manchester City Centre By ABSO!
A new spoof newspaper has been launched for the Labour Party Spring Conference announcing that an Anti-Social Behaviour Order has been placed on Tony Blair banning him from the city centre for threatening behaviour and actual bodily harm.

The paper satirises the government's increasingly desperate attempts to manipulate the media, highlighting the hysteria that has been whipped up over issues like asylum seekers, the war in Iraq and tuition fees. The editorial crew also take a swipe at the racist reputation of police in Manchester and the privatisation of public spaces in Manchester.

10,000 copies of the newspaper will be distributed around the city this weekend as Labour Party delegates assemble for their Spring Conference.

"Reports had reached council officials that Blair (51) and his gang was planning to arrive shortly in Manchester ensuring mass disruption across the city. Police have been placed on high alert since the news that the notorious troublemaker will be making an appearance. "
