The Department of Politics and International Relations/Centre for Democracy Studies is kicking off this year's seminar series with a film and speakers on the recent crisis in Argentina.

The speakers are:
Alan Angell of the Latin American Centre at St. Antony's College Oxford and Jeff Powell from the Bretton Woods Project, a London based NGO monitoring the IMF and World Bank.

The 16 minute film "Voces Argentines" was made last year by ConsciousCinema, and one of the film makers, Zoe Young, will be here to introduce it.

The event takes place on:

- Monday, 13th October

- 5 pm to 6.30 pm

- in room SG 03 (in the Research Centre on the main Headington campus)
