today at 12 noon 21 people occupied the french consulate in barcelona to protest against the police brutality in the anti-g8 protests in switzerland and france.

the occupants state that they won't leave the consulate until the french government has condemned theuse of excessive force. an activist from barcelona was seriously injured in an incident that can be described as attempted murder.
