A place was named after Rachel Corrie

In Athens, courageous people renamed the place in front of the Israeli Embassy in Rachel Corrie place in a symbolic act. This was done in order to remind Rachel Corrie - the peace activist who had to die for her ideals - run over by a bulldozer from the IDF.

Ca. 50 people followed the call from the Circle of Feminism Athens and renamed the place in front of the Israeli Embassy in Athen in a symbolic act into Rachel Corrie place.
Rachel Corrie was an American Peace Activist.
She was 23 year old, when she was killed.
She wanted to protect a house in Palestine, if the bulldozer from the IDF run over her, eyewitnesses reported in cold blood.

Although an investigation was demanded multipl before an international court - no public investigation was carried out.
Too the American government gave itself satisfied astonishingly with the explanation of the IDF - this was an accident.

Therefore - many thanks to these women of Athens who keep alive the memory of the peace activist Rachel Corrie who had to die for her ideals.

You say that plenty of Zionists support a Palestinian state.

Well plenty of Palestinians support an Israeli state.

I would say the ball is in Israel's court - they do have the big guns after all.

As to the ISM being a terrorist organisation. You probably beleive that because you have no capability to empathise or love. All you know is hatred. Its seems that people who are motivated by love of complete strangers (ISM and the Palestinians), and are willing to risk their lives to prevent suffering, are such an alien concept to you that you have to invent bizzare smears (without any independantly verified proof) to keep your little hate-bubble intact.

I pity you.

That comment was directed at a couple of genocide-excusing, Sharon-propaganda-spouting, hate-filled comments that have since been removed by the kind Indymedia censors!

Keep up the good work :)

We get enough Israeli propaganda from Fox News...
