Latest news 6pmish - about 2 bus loads of people have been arrested and are being taken to Harrogate Police Station. Its not clear yet what they have been charged with.

I just got back. Apparently the police blocked/turned away coaches from London coming to join us at Menwith. It was still **brilliant*** with less people. Foil, kites, balloons, a sea of colour, imagination and music. Gave us lots of ideas for stuff - can the spacecadets email me (oranyone with ideas of how to do this)? we want to try to get No War into the air over a big space
in central Manchester with parachute silk or something.

surprise, surprise, as thatflabbering tory scumtwat would shriek. after the manc demo, which was uber peacfull. well apparently after i fucked off to buy some soap the polis started gettin all testosterone on some folk. but hmm menwith hill, not a fuckin peep all day aboot it on radio news. ok i was listening to radio 4 so perhaps a demo of this scale ouside a base doesnt warrant metion. y'know, loads of people taking the protest to the operational side of the war machine, yeah lets just talk about people in london ,glasgow and edinbrough(?)having a nice wee stroll in the sun, lovely spring day, don't spoil it by mentioning that the public servants were harrassing and assaulting the public. that would spoil the effect.
