BAE Systems weapons factory broken into by anarchists

Bozavine | 01.03.2003 13:45

Cardiff Anarchists broke into a BAE amunitions factory today. They can police Fairford....they can have soldiers in the airbases.....but it's going to cost them a f**king fortune to police all the arms factories and suppliers too :-)

A number of anarchists broke in to the Glascoed amunitions factory today.

Campaign Against the Arms Trade are running a campaign called 'Site Unseen', to show what a vast industry arms production is in this country.

Near the picturesque village of Usk in Monmouthshire a huge amunitions factory exists producing everything from bullets to 1000lb bombs. The site is enourmous, the size of a small town.

Cardiff Anarchist Network thought as part of the anti war campaign to support CAAT in our own immitable way. 8 people scaled the fences and performed our own weapons of mass destruction inspection. Some of the group chained themselves to buildings, others 'got lost' in the maze of factories.

More details later when security finds them all, tee hee...
