Eight of 10 UK kids say no to war with Iraq

Most children in Britain don't want there to be a war with Iraq, according to a special survey CBBC Newsround has carried out.

Hundreds of kids were asked what they thought about military action, and of every 10 kids who were asked, eight said they didn't want a war.

Only one in 10 children wanted to see soldiers fighting in Iraq.

Most children in Britain don't want there to be a war with Iraq, according to a special survey CBBC Newsround has carried out.

Hundreds of kids were asked what they thought about military action, and of every 10 kids who were asked, eight said they didn't want a war.

Only one in 10 children wanted to see soldiers fighting in Iraq.

The survey also asked what worried you about war.

Half of you are scared of terrorist attacks here in Britain, and a third of you thought the fighting might spread to other countries.

But some of you weren't as bothered about the people living in Iraq - 7% of you said that Iraqi people dying was your top concern.
